Next week’s Hello Show by Orange Silicon Valley will pack dozens of sessions and demos into three days of virtual programming on October 27-29. This full schedule of engaging discussions, presentations, and technology walkthroughs will bring together some of the brightest minds in the Orange Silicon Valley network to share new ideas from their respective domains.
The event’s programming will be broken up thematically among the three days.
The first day will focus on big ideas, setting up the conversation with opening remarks from Orange Group CEO Stéphane Richard, as well as a cybersecurity discussion with Orange Executive Director of Strategy and Cybersecurity Hugues Foulon. The day will also include a fireside chat between Gené Teare, an editor and data evangelist at Crunchbase, and Lauren Kolodny, a founding partner at Acrew Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm. The two will explore the state of the VC market as the world continues to confront COVID-19.
These opening day Tuesday sessions will also feature Arun Sundararajan, the Harold Price Professor of Entrepreneurship and Professor of Technology, Operations and Statistics at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He will highlight how new technologies are likely to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, noting some key examples. On Wednesday, attention will turn to deep dives on variations areas of interest, including a conversation about co-innovation between Helmut Reisinger, CEO, Orange Business Services, and Dennis Hoffman, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Telecom Systems Business, Dell Technologies. That discussion will be followed by our breakout sessions, delving into entertainment, smart ecosystems, cybersecurity, smart mobility, retail, industry 4.0, and sustainability.
Thursday’s sessions will explore the future of digital transformation, featuring a talk from Orange Group Chief Technology and Innovation Officer Michaël Trabbia about what is at stake as new 5G use cases emerge. Others speaking that day will include Orange Silicon Valley Principal, Software Architect Wilson Lau, who address the role of teleoperation, and Jack Mardack, a cofounder at Oyster, who will conduct a fireside chat with Cro Metrics CEO Chris Neumann about managing remote workforces.
The list of speakers for this event has grown considerably over the past month, so be sure to review all three days of programming to see what is in store. In an addition, we have noted a handful of the demos that will be on display throughout the week — a full lineup of which will be visible within the event platform for attendees. These demos will include work from Orange Silicon Valley’s own experts, as well as Orange Business Services and companies such as Nvidia, QuarkVR, Cavrnus, Intel, Pivott, Affirmed, Liqid, Helium, and others.
