The group’s next meetup will bring together a group of local professional working with HR and data, using data-driven perspectives to help companies realize the full potential of their workforces.
The Bay Area People Analytics Meetup will be hosted Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Orange Silicon Valley’s San Francisco event space.
The night is geared toward People Analytics analysts, practitioners, and leaders to assemble for good conversation, good drinks, and a little bit of learning, too.
Based on survey feedback the topic for this meetup will be “Academia to People Analytics,” and we will be joined by practitioners with academic/PhD backgrounds for a conversation to learn more about what it means to transition from Academia to People Analytics.
The agenda for the night will be as follows:
6:00 – 7:00pm – Welcome and happy hour
7:00 – 7:30pm – Josh Sacco, Facebook – “From Academia to People Analytics”
7:30 – 8:00pm – Speaker TBD
We’re still looking for speakers for the research project and the recent PhD graduate panel, so if you or someone from your network would like to participate in either, please reach out to Richard Rosenow.
